The important concept is that an onAI credit is associated with a task (workflow), not simply with every individual message. A credit is triggered when you submit a new task to onAI and covers the workflow required to complete that task. The workflow may contain several exchanges between you and onAI.
This means that a clarification message does not automatically consume another credit.
When a new task may start
A credit is generally associated with a task, not with every individual message. Follow-up questions and clarifications that remain part of the same objective normally stay within the same task. However, if you introduce a different objective during an active workflow — especially one involving another onAI scope or module. onAI may treat it as a separate task and an additional credit may be used.
For example:
Create a quote for Carlo.
While that workflow is still in progress, you ask:
Which deals have been inactive for more than 30 days?
The second request is unrelated to the quote workflow and may therefore be treated as a separate task (-1 credit).
Credits are based on tasks and objectives, not simply on messages. A new, independent objective may start a new task and may use an additional credit, even within the same conversation.
